I found an old drum program I had, so I decided to make a short metal song. The drums arent perfect but I quite like the general sound of the clip, I'll extend it sometime. Guitar was Epi LP Custom with Mules, into V-Amp 2 direct into souncard.
EDIT! New song down the page, theres a link to my soundclick.
Cheers

DRUMatik is its name. (had to do this, for the pure cheese factor!)Playing drums is its game

Hahah sorry I had to
EDIT - I'm remaking this "song", totally changed the main riff thing, it sounds MUCH cooler and better now, will post it when its done!
-
shite - that was frightening, in a good way - the mule really sounds the balls - who could say it's not for metal - totally organic thrash
I find myself wanting to end the post HAILS :D

Thats THE pickup to go on my strat.
but i still have a lot of trouble chosing the right pickups
i was about to order , i even emailed tim with some questions.. and, i gave it up.. for two reasons, 1, to fund my new ibanez.
and second one, to wait the site revamp with clips and PROBABLY the painkiller pickup.
-
nice clip Tom - definitely reminds me of Slayer.
my friend runs a battle of the bands contest in Northampton at the Punch & Judy on thursday nights if you are interested.

Cheers to brow and lepersmeesa for the drum samples!
-
niiiice! solo was good, nice and melodic, but (even though im not a fan of super fast stuff) it just needed a couple of speedy runs to make it awesome...

-
Yeah the faster bits sucked still haha I didnt know what to do so I just started tapping because I thought "sambo wants fast stuff!" haha
-
haha! im honoured that i inspired you in such a way! lol..
that tapping came off nicely by the way....
-
Cool cheers :D I much prefer this solo to the first one
-
and so you should! lol...
now onto more pressing matters.... like how im gonna raise enough money for a baritone melody maker clone... :? hmmmm any suggestions?
anyway yer, dunno how many times ive said this in this post in total but nice job... lol.
-
Baritone schmaritone, no point I say, if you can play metal on a les paul then you dont need any longer scale :D
-
of COURSE you need a longer scale.... who WOULDNT want a longer scale.... sure you CAN play normal metal on an ordinary LP... but why play normal metal when you can play BROWN-NOTE metal!!!!!!
P.S just so you know.... the brown-note is the frequency that makes humans cr@p themselves... hence the.... 'brown' part of the term....
of course i have no idea whether its actually physically possible to reach this note on a guitar but you get the idea....
-
Hahah yeah but Zakk plays his metal on an LP and he manages fine 8) Anyway this threads getting off topic young Samuel
-
yer sorry lol didnt mean to steal it as i usually do... ill get it back on track by saying for the millionth time:
GREAT STUFF TOM!
