Hi guys...I have two pickups ceramic Warpig in maple/alder and alnico Nailbomb in all mahogany...In maple/alder is good reserve in lows and maybe too much treble and alnico mag should tame it a bit...In mahogany I like to have bit more high mids and treble to cut through better...So I just got idea to swap magnets...But I´m not sure if they originaly use same magnets...What you think?

I myself wouldn't swap magnets on my own, you'll be losing your warranty and imho your best bet would be to send the PUs to BKP to do it for you. Don't know anything about the size though...

unless you're really sloppy or you live in an extremely humid place where pickups tend to fail by themselves, I wouldn't mind losing warranty at all
I've messed with pretty much every bkp I had and never had a problem in 6 years
removing a magnet isn't hard
usually, a screwdriver and a little patience will do it, but I'm almost sure the ceramic magnet in the warpig is thicker (and shorter) than the alnico in the bomb, so you'll need to swap the spacers as well, and that might require removing some glue

It took me some time to make right decision but after hours of playing and tweaking my "supertight" 92 Dual Recto I finaly sent my Cpig back to BKP workshop to make that magnet swap...Also they´ll put there allen bolts instead of screws which are there now...They charge for it only 10 quids...I have to say it again Thanx to Tim&BKP crew for excellent customer and technical support...Cheers

Nice, get back to us with the results asap. I just recently put a C-Pig into a mates Horizon (Alder Body, Maple Neck Through, Ebony Fretboard) and must confess I didn't like it at all, but that maybe due to the pairing of a bright wood selection and the ceramic magnet. I loved the shitee out of an A-Pig in another mates LTD (Mahogany Body, Maple Cap and Neck, Rosewood Fretboard) though, so I guess it always depends on a lot of factors :P

Sooo...Pickup installed and tested...It´s exacly what I expected...Smoother highs, more mids and off course little bit looser bottom...Overall it sounds fuller and fatter with that bonecrushing midrange...Thing what I like is that pickup came back with original parts as ceramic magnet, spacers and screws...
