So earlier in the week I got to have my first ever play with the Axe Fx Ultra. What an amazing piece of kit. So decided to do a quick run through of my BKP equipped guitars using some new riff ideas I had. The preset used is based on an Engl Powerball through an Engl 4x12 with V30s. The pickups we recorded were the Aftermath, Cold Sweat and Ceramic Nailbomb. Enjoy :-) hopefully...lol

Awesome video, demo and playing
-
Cheers man! finally got to do some clips with proper audio lol :-) glad you enjoyed it

Insane! :)
Loving the C-Bomb and the Aftermath.
How aggressive is the C-Bomb and how tight are the lows?
-
Loved that. Really liked the C-bombs, as you say, those lows were just awesome.
-
Cheers again guys! im glad youre digging it.
The Aftermath imo is certainly the tighter of the three pickups, but the CBomb has more lows and hollow mids- you can almost hear the tone getting darker as it goes from AM-CS-CBomb. I love them all as they all offer me something different; and itamar101 - for a darker yet tight sound the CBomb is a winner :-)

Sounds awesome :)
lots of GAS for the C-Bomb recently.
Anyway, great playing.

I honestly can't hear much of a difference between the clips. They all sound great though :D
-
Cheers guys - itamar you wont regret getting the CBomb :-)
Jack- cheers for the comment;you can hear the differences in certain riffs more than others, also make sure you listen through headphones or good speakers; you can hear the differences especially on the last riff :-) thanks again man

Like it a lot!
-
The AM sounds as metal and tight as it can get, whereas the Coldsweat seems to have a slightly scooped tone and the C-Bomb adds some more aggressive highs to the sound... I like the Aftermath the most :P
Thanks for the Clip Chris, as always very helpful and great playing, cheers!

Cheers again guys- GuitarIv: youre welcome man, sorry if the video has given you even more dilemmas lol, tbh i think whichever one you go for youll be happy :-)
-
Nah mate, no worries, my decision is pretty clear. The Jackson is gonna get the Aftermath in the bridge and a Coldsweat for the neck (fluid sweep picking tone). Since the woods are the same as in your Schecter I pretty much know what I can expect :)

Sounds like a great combo to me! let us know how you get on once its installed :-)
-
Will do so! :D
