Great idea imho :)

Very cool.

I really like this idea.

I was sceptical at the start of that clip, but neat idea. :)
Not sure I'd actually want Hipshot tuners in preference to Gotohs, but you could probably design a similar device to work with any brand of tuner, I guess.

^ +1 with Philly, my hopes weren't high at the start of the video but its a really simple and elegant solution - moreso for vintage instruments (or pricey custom shop stuff).
-
It's good way to prevent having to cut ugly new holes into the headstock, however as Philly pointed out it would be nice to see this for other tuner brands as well, I personally love my Gotohs :P
-
it's one of those "so obvious, why hadn't it been done before?" products. i've never understood why different tuners have screw holes in various different positions.

Thinking exactly the same about stainless steel frets as an example. Less wear, better tone (although that's personal preference), or the Tremol-No. For years people have been putting wood blocks into guitars and no one thought about something like a mechanical solution.
Fanned Frets, True Temperament frets and the Evertune bridge might not be that obvious, but come along pretty late too :P
