Cheers guys, just stumbled across this video:

It's Nollys Signature Vik and I know those pickups are handmade by the luthier Vik Kuletski himself, but that heavy rythm sound is unreal. Anyone a clue what BKP would come close to this sound?
Cheers

Uh oh... Competition for BKP?

Both Tim and I agree the bridge is probably closest to the Emerald, and the neck is similar to a VHII although brighter. ViK doesn't make aftermarket pickups, they're only fitted to his own guitars so hardly competition to BKP :)

I like the tone of this more than EMGs. Can the Emerald really deliver tones this tight?

Good to know!

The bridge is really bright and yes, tight. You would be suprised at the metal capability of the vintage hot range mate! I think the Emerald even is a favorite among metal guitarists, especially for down tuned stuff. Often overlooked in this department (if I am mixing it up with anything someone correct me).

Thanks for clearing it up, Nolly! :)
