Title: How do the BlackHawks split up??
Post by: ventura on January 08, 2013, 04:36:51 AM
Anyone out there using these pups with a coil-tap?

How do they split?  Nicely?  Weak and thin?

Please let me know - hoping to install a set into an ESP NT-7 and go with the ubiquitous coil-tap to split them up for range.

Thanks Crew!

The neck and middle split sounds are fantastic. The neck is great for leads and modern cleans while the middle split is very jazzy and can be snappy as well. I have a ceramic bridge so the bridge split is ear-piercing and I really don't like it. An A5 bridge would probably be pretty nice though.
