Title: Question on BKP Strat Single Coils
Post by: darkbluemurder on January 10, 2013, 03:37:28 PM
Apart from a potential RWRP for the middle pickup, are the pickups for the middle and neck positions identical? They seem to be since the DC resistance for the various models is the same.

Thanks, Stephan

That is usually the case, at least with most brands.

That's always been my understanding - for each set there's a bridge model and a neck/middle model.

Thank you Philly, that's very clear.

Cheers Stephan

I didn't know the neck/middle was the same... Very interesting and it shows how much difference the placement of the pickup makes.

That explains why my Slowhand middle and neck singlecoil sounds so familiar, yet not the same ^^
