As the title says, 2012 GIBSON HISTORIC 1960 LES PAUL R0 RI LEMON BURST GLOSS FLAMED TAPER V2 NECK, it's NGD! Awesome!
So, all my guitars have BKP.
HSS Strat with irish tours/HD (bridge)
ESP ECLIPSE II (rebel yells) im actually selling this one.
Gibson explorer with SET OF EMERALDS ( really dig these in this explorer.. they rock)
I need a set for my new les paul. I was told to try mule neck and black dog bridge.
I like to play many styles of music. to name some bands: ac/dc, kiss, the darkness, led zeppelin, guns n roses, lynyrd skynyrd, metallica, etc.
I play mostly classic rock, hard rock, a little metal like metallica.
Opinions, recommendations, all welcomed!....

I'll say a mule set will do you good. If you want more power go for an Abraxas set. Both sys will deliver classic rock and hard rock in spades.

Black Dog-bridge suits the mentioned styles and is tight enough for metal too. Mule-neck yes, I dig that one, doesn't fall apart with lots of gain, very musical too, genuine 59 neck PAF.

Why not pull the Rebel Yells out of the for sale ESP and put them in the new LP?
You probably won't get much more for your ESP with the BKP as you would with a less expensive set, saving you a tidy sum of cash. :P

I agree as well, RY would be perfect in that guitar.

i liked the RY in the ESP but i didnt love them. almost sounded too bright to me.
this new LP has a rosewood fretboard. maybe it would be better suited in this guitar.
I do love the emeralds like i mentioned they are awesome.
Ben from BKP recommended mule neck, black dog bridge.
so many choices.

Can't see how it would hurt to at least try it.

I believe I will just keep the ESP w/Rebel Yells. F**k selling it.. it's too nice lol.
As for the Les Paul I'm still thinking mule/black dog. any opinions on black dog vs riff raff bridge for a LP or a set of calibrated Abraxas?
