Hi there!

I've been recommended by a ton of people to check out bare knuckles. I'm looking to swap out the stock pickups in my basswood ibby. My main goal for this guitar is to be used for heavy stuff but also have a good clean tone. I like for my chords to ring out. I'm mainly looking for a pickup that sounds good for modern metal, sounds good clean and is very articulate.

Out of the clips I heard I liked the aftermath, holy diver, alnico nailbomb, and coldsweat the best. From what I understand, basswood is fairly neutral but are any of the pickups I listed just not suited for basswood? The problem I'm having is that I think all of the bare knuckles sound awesome (judging by the clips on the website) so it's hard to choose. I would appreciate any suggestions!

Of the ones I know (Holydiver, Cold Sweat and Alnico Nailbomb) I believe the Alnico Nailbomb would be the best for basswood. It would nicely fill out the bottom end.

Nailbombs would be fine or maybe a Miracle Man.
