I was hoping to buy myself a guitar for christmas but I couldn't really find one of the guitars have been after. However I have finally landed myself JEMBSB. Sorry about the images, they were taken on my phone and I still don't have much clue how to upload them properly.

I am very happy with it. I would have liked the front of the body to be burnt a little more but it doesn't bother me that much. It plays very nicely, not as nice as my SoCal but the Evos sound a lot better in the Jem than it does in the neck of the SoCal.

Is that the color paint they used or the color of material the guitar's made of?

It's just a basswood body stained blue and then burnt

wow that's awesome :D

My absolute favourite Jem, congratz it looks pretty darn cool to me!

Cool guitar dude.
I love the look of Ibanez' Guitars but I just can't get on with the necks - they make my hand cramp up.
One day I'll get a custom made with a PRS wide fat neck carve 8)

Congrats, very nice Jem. I had a FP77 in the late eighties, early nineties. Good guitar for the music I played then.

That was always my fave Jem finish, congrats dude! My mate used to have the Jem with the textured / bobbly black paint finish and mirror scratch-plate. It was pretty cool, but none of them ever came close to the burnt blue.
Jealous...

To be honest I have never really considered getting a Jem, however the first time I saw a bsb I had serious gas for one :D
I would love a 7 string finished in a similar way. I might buy a 7321 off the bay and attempt to refinish it to match the bsb.

Superb choice.
I have a white and gold Jem which is far to glitzy for me, however excluding a few handmade instruments it is the best guitar I have ever played. I could never part with it, hoping to change to BK's soonish.
Spend a little time getting the right set up for you and play....
