As it's been a long while since I've been round these parts, figured I would share some photos that just came over the tubes last night for my latest amp: a L'il Dawg Champster (http://www.littledawgamps.com/amps_champs.php). Essentially, this is a Champ clone as a standalone head.
I absolutely love my EAST Studio 2, but as it is only 2W, it does tend to run out of steam when playing live. For the past couple of years I have been augmenting it with a second amp. The first thing I did was rewire my Rivera 4x12 with the most efficient speakers I could find that I also like the sound of, and wired it as a dual mono 2x12 cab, with each 2x12 being 8 Ohms.

I have used a few different amps along with the Studio 2, some working better than others.
I recently had the thrill of playing a Swart ST Reverb Tweed (http://swartamps.com/swart_space_tone_reverb-tweed.htm), however, and really loved the sound of this amp when pushed to breakup and then goosed with the Beano Boost. My original goal was to get a Swart, but as they are only available in combo form, I started casting around for an alternative.
Thankfully, Toe-knee discovered L'il Dawg, we traded a few emails, I placed an order, and now the amp is in production. :)
Got my first round of pics from Jim yesterday!

that looks about as simple as it's possible for an amp to be! makes my Fender pro Junior look complex with it's two knobs :) it probably sounds fantastic, hope you enjoy it.

Sweet! 8)

Yeah, sweet lunchbox!

If I really like the amp, my goal is to by a second one and have them both put into a custom head shell. :)
-
Amp has shipped! Should be here in a week's time. :)

For what reason?

One would drive the Wizards and the other will drive the Swap Thangs (see OP).
