Here is the latest beauty to roll out fitted with some BKPs
We have a Miracle man in the bridge and a Stormy Monday in the neck.
The switching allows humbucking /off/single coil for each pickup
The body is alder, neck is 3 piece maple with an ebony board.
The inlays were hard work but look fantastic- rather pleased with them.
As well as the Floyd , the guitar was fitted with Sperzels for quick restringing.
Body was based on a Jackson Kelly with a deeper cutaway for easy sweep picking access at the top end. Neck is similar to an Ibanez and we put an all access neck joint connecting the two.
We had the customer's signature made up into a transfer so we could make it a signature model for him with it on the headstock.
Another trend that is happening more and more is we find ourselves just using the catseyes logo without the feline name and it is still very identifiable
It plays like a Demon and the BKPs sound so damn good - it was all silly grins when playing it before the customer collected it.

Outstanding looking work, yet again!
Can't wait till it's my turn :)

That thing is gorgeous, I'd really like a custom Feline, I have all the plans in my head...
Just need an Engl Fireball first tho.
Andy!

Nice! Those inlays wouldn't be my choise though. Is the customer a Kiss fan?

Like Kilby, I am not a fan of pointy guitars but undoubtedly that guitar looks the business.
-
hah Ratrod that looks awesome, although I prefer the white pinstripe one personally.
-
ratrod, dude, that guitar's excellent! i love rusty-looking stuff...
im thinking about cutting up this old tread/diamond plate drain cover in our drummers garden (which is rotting away and looks awesome) to match my extremely distressed pup.
-
very nice Jonathan. i think you are right about the guitar only needing the cats eyes.
-
very nice work... +1 on just using the cats eyes, I think it's much more stylish.

+1 again
