Hi all.
I've got 2 nailbombs and a trilogy suite in my Strat, tapped & split and selectable in pretty much every way, which is great for a huge number of sounds.
But although I thought it was ok at first, I'm starting to think the neck output is too weak.
The bridge is ceramic and the neck alnico.
It also occurred to me that the low output could be due to the amount of wiring, but the bridge is wired the same and has no output problems.
Do you think I should try a ceramic in the neck position, or maybe go for something like a warpig?
Thanks for suggestions :)

Raise it. BKP does not make a ceramic nailbomb neck for the neck.

Painkiller-neck is ceramic.
I guess the alnico Miracle Man-neck is one of the hottest in the range.

Dont forget about the black hawk!

I raised it as suggested :)
Tim suggested a painkiller as well.
I don't know anybody who's using one, but I think I'm gonna give it a go.
Thanks for the help!

Is that suppose to make it nailbomb?

Can I ask because I am wondering, when you say "not hot enough" - how exactly do you notice it or what exactly is bugging you about the neck-abomb right now? (what amp?)

I'd say there might be a wiring probelm. I had my nailbomb neck paired with a warpig for 6 months and it had no trouble keeping up in output

the neck nailbomb is a very uncompressed and articulate pickup, but VERY loud and focused
I had to use a much lower height setting than the bridge nailbomb, which is also pretty loud
