Put some Mules in my 59' Reissue Les Paul... Hot diggity dog, they sound great. More mid range than the Custom Buckers so solos sound way better. Tight lows and not any kind of hard high end. The 2013 Custom Buckers are still good, but for my style the Mules rock a little better. Harmonics are very prominent.
So who else has a Les Paul with some Mules in it?
I'm new so sorry if this has been posted before.

Hey Adam
It's great you are enjoying them so much! Do you have any pictures or sound clips of you rocking them out?

I have a Les Paul Standard with a set of Mules in and they're EASILLY the best pickups I've ever had in that guitar.
They replaced a set of Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers that I really liked and never thought I'd change, I like the Mules that much

Hey thanks. No I haven't had a chance to record anything with the Mules yet but I'll fire up Reaper and get to it eventually.

I've got an unpotted calibrated set in my 1989 Les Paul Standard. Tried several different pups before the Mules - great pickups PDT_003

Mules and a LP seem to go hand in hand. Glad you like them so much!

Congrats! My Mules are in a all mahogany Saint Blues Missisippi Bluesmaster. Fabulous pickups.
