Title: Blackguard flat 50 (the new ones) ripping this tele a new one
Post by: Keven on March 05, 2013, 08:16:02 PM
So, some noodling this afternoon toying with amp IR's and jam tracks and my spanking new warmoth tele with BGF50's. it's really shredtastic in a very tele way.

hope you don't mind the duffs here and there, it's all fun and games

generally I don't like the tele sound, but yours is very good! What amp? ;)

thanks for asking, i'm going through a randall lynchbox 50 watt head, with a MXR custom badass OD up front. then into an attenuator and the line-out into my computer using redwirez's speaker IR's. works great and i can drive my tube amp hard enough but without a deafening volume.

Well, yes, because it's not the typical country twang. Very good shredding indeed!

Cheers Stephan

Thanks!

you'd be amazed how much the tele's percussive bridge pickup is perfect for heavy metal and the likes, keeps you hitting it harder and harder but it also cleans up so beautifully when you need to.
