This guy is a great guitar player and a horrendous singer. The queens voice would work better than his.
Same applies for his MC Hammer cover. I wish he had never opened his mouth because his guitar playing is awesome.

Awesome guitar playing.

Well that was impressive! I expected the vocals to be a lot worse after reading the posts in the thread. They certainly aren't fantastic but they could have been worse.
-
he isn't as good as eric roche was, but it's a good try...

i don't think the singings *that* bad, but he doesn't put much emotion into it does he?
liked it anyway, good vid

Not that he's completely off key - he's just very awkward and just cringey really.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy that after reading the comments in this thread.... but $%ing hell, that was marvellous! :D
For a YouTube video, the guitar tone is excellent. And I like his vocals! Of course he's no great singer, but he seems so relaxed (in a geeky sort of way) and it all fits together so well. Top marks, young man!

The vocals are the best bit for me!
I like how dead pan and bingocaller-ish they are, just lightens the whole mood of the song imo.

I totally agree! It's wonderfully incongruous.

I was quite surprised to find that I recognised the song well enough to appreciate his version of it! I didn't think I was familiar with very much Slayer apart from Reign In Blood.
(His version of "I Was Made For Lovin' You" is great too, though it lacks the vocal element....)
