Hi Guys, I've got a Schecter Hellraiser C-7 with EMG's, and since BKP has made the covers to fit the oversize routings, I thought now was the time to strike!
I've tried a lot of different pickups and i'm having a hard time making up my mind. I have a Gibson SG and i have switched to pu in it, so the neck pu is in the bridge position and the bridge pu is in the neck position, this gives it a more warmer and round feeling, not so bright, and that is what i want for my Hellraiser as well, and I'm hoping somebody can help.
I play a mixture of progressive heavy/hard rock and jazz with little gain (when distorted) but also a fairly amount of clean stuff. So versatility is a must. I like it when you can hear all the notes in big chords which I use a lot!
Anyway I hope somebody can help or guide me in my quest for at better sounding guitar!

I agree to the Black Dog suggestion - they are warm, clear and the website recommends them for extended range guitars.
Cheers Stephan
