Just throwing this out there.
If got a good enough price (bit subjective as it is so rare in the finish it's in) do you think it would be worth selling My Hardtail Ernie Ball Axis (Ermengenza one) and putting few $$$$ towards getting an Axis?
Realise you may not be too familiar with Ernie Ball Guitars there though.
The Axis Super Sport is hardtail, 5 way pup select with basswood body and maple board.
An Axis is Floyd Rose, basswood, 3 way pup and maple.
I know they sound v.similar but I have two Axis Super Sports you see :)

why not!.. although i would have said bring the emergenza over here and sell it as youd probly get way more for it in the UK.
-
You are quite right Sammy my boy, just wondering. Would save bit of hassle is all as am SURE would need to source a replacement Axis from the States.
-
yer.... the best possible way of doing things, would be to stump up the cash for that red axis from somewhere else, then bring all 3 axis' back to the UK and sell the emergenza
but that could be tricking giving the moving circumstances...
-
Yep, especially with no cash/credit at moment (left that is) and a finace that would probably become an ex fiance lol.
Nah, just bored and wondering I guess.
Ernie Balls are not well known in UK but that might work in my favor if I decide to sell too I imagine, as it will be rarer and then maybe easier to sell.
-
lol yer i reckon the fact that they're scarce over here would mean that the few people who do know about them will be keen to buy them. but you never know, you could somehow have enough for it, you'll just have to wait and see how things turn out.
-
yeah I would get the original Axis if I were in your shoes. they look such nice instruments and have a good reputation.
-
stick it on ebay.co.uk, and sell it here but buy the axis in the us :D
-
LOL Badger
well, I played her alot yesterday and kinda like her.
Way it has turned out I have two Trem guitars and two hardtail.
Well, as I like the Axis neck so much and it has a hardtail I'm rethinking :) (never say never though).
To be honest the Axis, not Super Sports I have, just have a Floyd instead of a Vintage Trem. They have less tonal possibilities as only have 3way switching for the pups too. Funny they cost alittle more.
Anyways, forgetting the idea for now, less get offered buckets of money lol.
And yeah, am lazy and using the nice big bridge to rest/anchor my hand, saves me pinky LOL
