Title: Knaggs Guitars Steve Stevens Signature Model
Post by: Afghan Dave on April 05, 2013, 01:51:47 PM
Comes fitted with BKPs too..  :P

I like it but I'm not sure I could live with pink raygun headstock inlay..  :?

Plus, the neck heal isn't upto Feline standards.

It's like a Les Paul meets a Washburn Paul Stanley thing ... interesting.

I don't like the pink binding, although it does have a "mother of bowling ball" look which is better than just plain pink plastic.  Not keen on that weird Knaggs bridge/tailpiece either.  It does look pretty funky, nevertheless, and it's cool that it comes with BKPs.  :D

Speaking of which, I do like the look of the new Paul Stanley "Time Traveler" models.  OK, it's just a Reverse Firebird copy, but it's a cool Reverse Firebird copy.

Steve knows about our neck joint
I wish I had been in a position to make Steve a guitar when he asked me a few years back but at the time I couldn't afford to donate a guitar
In the meantime Steve has had some lovely axes from Suhr, Gibson and Knaggs amongst others

I like the look of the Knaggs - think he'd love our neck heel carve though

I'd still love to make Steve a guitar and clone the neck from his favourite Les paul.
I think we could come up with something pretty special :D

'  Ray gun engraved Bareknuckle Signature pick-ups '

' specially designed Signature Bareknuckle pick-ups with engraved ray guns not available in any other guitar '

So, are they RYs or not ?

As RYs are the only BKPs with rayguns on them & they are not availiable on any other guitar... my guess is YES.

Love the look of the Paul Stanley model. Great colour too!

The pink might be a bit too much and I would have to get used to the headstock. It seems a bit to spikey, but in time I would come around. Apart from that it looks damn cool.

Mine would be perfect for him, it's purple and even had RYs in it... He should get in touch. Though he's not having it for free ;)

Just got the new issue of Guitarist, there's a Fractal Audio Systems Axe-Fx ad showing SS playing a Les Paul Custom with a flame graphic and (what looks like) a Duesenberg pickup in the neck position.

He doesn't seem to be exclusively tied in to any of his endorsement deals!

No Steve  doesn't do exclusive deals as he can't be or doesn't wish to be tied to any one piece of gear.
But Steve's use of a product carries a lot of cachet for players

Maybe I'll swap him one of mine for a Knaggs

From the looks of the picture it looks quite thin.
