Just thought I'd share some work we've been doing for someone
(https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/902411_503524223028000_1743029922_o.jpg)
Toby had a 62 Jazzmaster body, but the neck had been destroyed/lost years ago
It had laid under his bed for many years waiting to find someone to make a new neck.
So we made a new neck to Toby's preferences
We even made up some logos - Tobemaster!

Added some Tonepro Kluson heads

Added an Earvana nut

The original pickups were ok but the pickguard was all shrunken and the controls were dead or messed about with.
So we pretty much rebuilt everything other than the body.
We added one of the fab Mastery bridges too - an indulgence , but a nice one!

We performed a slight alteration to the neck angle by doctoring the pocket so that the bridge could sit a little taller and gave a better break-angle to the strings resulting in stronger tension and less string slippage.

Saw this on FB. was going to ask if you had a pic of the whole guitar! It Looks great! I'd not heard of Mastery bridges before, they look interesting.

Me neither, and I like to keep up to date on hardware! Looks a real heavy-duty piece of kit!
I like the TonePros tuners on there, but why no string trees?

Do like 8)

Beautiful work as always Jonathan. Also curious about the lack of string trees: every Fender style guitar I've had has been maddeningly noisy above the nut without them.
-
I may well need to add one
However it's pretty good without - the neck has a pretty good headstock depth , so there is a reasonable break angle over the nut (earvana), but I may decide to go with a graphtech tree .

I like that a lot- lovely stuff indeed.

Looks excellent!
