Title: My Death/Grind/Crust/Sludge project, Ceramic Warpig guitar

This is my band God Mother's debut Ep "Imitation". It was recorded in our rehersal space and mixed/mastered by our drummer. The drumkit is a tama star classic with a tama superstar snare. The bass is a fender p-bass through a peavey solid state amp with an EBS distortion.

Now to what really matters, the guitar. The guitar is a Caparison Horus, mahogany body with maple neck and rosewood fredboard. It has a floyd rose and is tuned to Bmaj7. In the bridge I have a ceramic warpig, played both in humbucker mode and tapped. In the neck is a trilogy middle pickup, but I can't remebmer if I ever selected it on this record. Pedals used: Empress ParaEQ->Green Rhino->Amp. The amp is a Peavey 6505 and the cabs are a 2x12 orange with v30s and a 4x12 with g12t-75s, mic'd with sm57's. Gain is set to 1.5 on the amp and presence is cranked, highs cut, mids scooped.

Thought's and opinions would be welcomed :)

If you don't have enough time to listen to all of it just listen to track no 2 and 4!

Gotta say I dont listen to music such as his any more BUT your rythm tone sounds really really good. Ive been lusting after a c-pig and this backs it up more.

Really like this, have you got a facebook page or something where I can get updates and watch out for your gigs?

That is excellent!  I'm at work so I only was able to listen to one channel via an earbud, but I'm going to download the EP when I get home.  Well done!

Oh yeah, forgot about that, here it is: https://www.facebook.com/godmotherband (https://www.facebook.com/godmotherband)

It's all in swedish though, but the sooner we get international fans the sooner we'll start posting in foreign :)

I completely dig your tunes, as well as the tone.

Cheers,

Is the guitar setup on the track Förledd different from that used on the others?  That was the one that appealed to me the most, the guitar sounds a bit like recent Swedish crust stuff (which I dig)

Nope, it's the same as the other tracks. However, I do think it's mixed in a slightly more swedish way than the others, at least I tried to get my drummer to mix it in a slightly more sunlight-y manner.
