I'm not entirely sure on the year but it's an incredibly fun guitar to play and sounds surprisingly good.

The EMG afterburner can be a bit OTT but if used carefully it's great fun.

Also I should add that my awesome girlfriend got me this as an anniversary present.

Dat looks metal. Congrats on the axe and the gf / anniversary!

I have no idea what i'm doing with it pickupwise. Currently this is number 3 on the list of guitars that need a pickup change. These will do for a while but how long that while is....

If i do i'd actually be tempted to go for the blackhawks if i could find a decent clip with a valve amp as i think they would suit this guitar perfectly on a visual level.

Nice catch! I think Blackhawks fit this guitar esthetically.

You know me. I don't like too 'extreme' shaped guitars. This is about as metal as i'll probably ever get. Barring explorers & V's of course but they're classics

I always get a big smile on my face when I see Jacksons, my favourite brand ever. Although not a big fan of the reversed headstock, this baby looks great! Treat her right, will you?  :D

Generally I wouldn't consider a black guitar with a reverse headstock but this one just has a certain vibe to it that really works for what i'm doing musically currently (more to follow in a few weeks)

You have to go EMG 81/85 in it.  It's begging for it!  I know that's not BKP related but it would sound awesome.  It's a nice guitar.
