Title: Zack Wylde signature speakers...
Post by: HTH AMPS on March 05, 2006, 12:26:26 AM: anyone tried these new Zack Wylde signature EV12L speakers? they look AWESOME!!! The downside is that they're £200 each :cry:

I'd love to try those speakers but £200 a pop is just insane. They're beefed up from the usual EV12L specs if you can believe it :o

Anyone have experience with EVs ????

Like Skybone said, I wouldn't like to lift a 4x12 full of 'em either - the specs show that a single one of these speakers is the same weight as three G12Hs (ouch!!!)

The thing about these EVs is that they may sound awesome, but at £200 each it's a bit much just to try them out. You need at least two of 'em to guage their tone/punch properly.

I guess you need a cab made of some extra durable alloy to keep those suckers in place
