anyone tried these new Zack Wylde signature EV12L speakers? they look AWESOME!!! The downside is that they're £200 each
-
Bah he really has sold out - he as signature everything does our Zakky.
£200 a pop seems a bit elusive aswell. Better be good...
-
Doesn't he even have his own signature mic? Sad.
-
How is he selling out? - all he's doing is endorsing gear he uses anyway :?
I'd love to try those speakers but £200 a pop is just insane. They're beefed up from the usual EV12L specs if you can believe it :o
Anyone have experience with EVs ????
-
I wish they'd bring out a Zac signature mic stand- I'd buy one. Bloody good luck to the Zacmaster general if he can blag those deals.
-
EV12L are yet pricey I think. With the BLS sticker on it, it's worse!
-
I wouldn't like to lift a 4x12 cab fitted with EV's!
The magnet's HUGE!
-
HTH dont worry about what indy says, he thinks everyone sells out.... :P
-
Sambo, I'm not bothered in the least - everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is the internet afterall
Like Skybone said, I wouldn't like to lift a 4x12 full of 'em either - the specs show that a single one of these speakers is the same weight as three G12Hs (ouch!!!)
The thing about these EVs is that they may sound awesome, but at £200 each it's a bit much just to try them out. You need at least two of 'em to guage their tone/punch properly.
-
god those magnets are enough to lift a truck!
I guess you need a cab made of some extra durable alloy to keep those suckers in place
-
They're selling for about $250 US each, which is $100-150 more than anything in the Eminence line. Not a whole lot of info available on them, no reviews yet either.
