Title: Multiamp

I had a go on one of these recently.

DV Mark MULTIAMP Introduction and snippet of Andy James at the Musikmesse 2013 : tonymckenzie.com (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7wK9pl-UTM#ws)

The DV Mark Multiamp.

It's another gizmo in that line of Axe FX and the Kemper. Only it has a built in 500watt SS power amp. The only other thing I've used close to this gubbins and a Pod XT. I expected it to be terrible, but it was actually set up pretty well. I think if you got one you'd have to get involved with some virtual EQ's a bit and tweak it to get the most out of it, and I'm not sure how the the decay of notes compares to a valve amp, since I think every patch I played with had a gate on... but it's worth checking out. It also weighs hardly anything and it's not really got a huge footprint. £1300 or something, given that you don't need to buy a power amp with it, it seems like a good deal. I've never used Axe FX or the Kemper, but this ain't bad. The SLO100 patches don't sound as good as my real SLO, but what ever will!
