Title: NAD
Post by: Telerocker on June 10, 2013, 10:37:10 AM
I gave myself a treat with a combo for smaller gigs. Simple plug- and play-amp: two channels, one very Fenderish (but the amp has EL34-valves), and a plexistyle leadchannel that has a tweed-vibe with just a tad of gain. Pentode/triode switch for 45 or 30 watts. Speaker is a Cel. V30, which I might change. Overall: sounds quite full and thick for a combo. The amp loves singecoils.

Very fine looking amp with exactly the kinds of tones I like too! Nicely done.

I agree, but it looks quite complicated to me!

The brand name sounds quite familiar, but I can't remember when I've seen it before.  Looks good, could sit nicely in the living room I think.  :)

I don't have tools at home to some decent recording. In most cases an iPhone doesn't do amps justice , so I picked some clips from youtube.

It sounds decent at low volumes, but for homepracticing and - recording they have the 5 wattt Bimbo with powerscaling. Maybe you remember that one from an earlier thread, or that Carl Verheyen has both the Bimbo and the 2/50.

Yep, now I remember you telling me about the Bimbo in one of those "small amp" threads.  Thanks!  :D
