Does anyone actually ever approve/delete them? Seems a bit of a cr@p shoot whether or not your new topic gets it or not.

i think their spam filter must be a bit too strict... yet we still see spam occurring.

it would be nice if they fixed it, but the forums still a cool place to be.

I wish I could think of a reply as clever as the thread concept.  :lol:

Poor old Brow seems to have been particularly badly affected by this recent phenomenon.

I should have seen this thread as I posted one quite similar in the "dressing room" section earlier today. It's pretty annoying to get hit with the "awating approval" when you want to share your new stash of gear with the lovely BKP crowd  :(

My NGD was for a pink Hello Kitty Strat that's modified with a Kahler trem and a Dimarzio Super Distortion pickup.

So if it's really, really ugly or not is a matter of opinion  :lol:

Shame about the Kahler.  Although I suppose it's a relatively tasteful choice, since it avoided having to carve up both sides of the body.

We do try act on approvals promptly, but unfortunately we don't get alerted to the "pending approval" threads, so it's a manual trawl. :-(

It does reduce some spam but as it appears to be causing more trouble than it prevents I'll disable it.
