Are black covers on BK humbuckers matte black?
-
Kind of satin black I'd say, they reflect a bit of light but by no means are they gloss!!
-
I see... I asked this because there are pictures of both satin and matt covers in the Gallery:

Thanks.

arent they gloss and matt rather than satin and matt? the first two look glossy to me.

I did email Tim about this and he said they didn't have any matt ones, but they have satin. So I assume there are different ones, but maybe satin is standard now. Satin rools anyway 8)

Yeah its not gloss, which I think would look cr@p anyway. It is a matte/satin black, it looks awesome, especially with gold pole pieces 8)

A...ha... No matt black then. :(
I'm ordering a raw nickel Nailbomb from our dealer then. I play my Strat almost every day, so it will be cool to see the pickup age as my playing gets better and better. 8)

At the moment they're all Satin black.

Looks pretty shiney to me. Maybe they are just old pics. I ordered a nb recently, hoping its satin, that would suit my guitar most well :)
