Title: Miracle Man or Warpig?
Post by: Guitar_Head on June 30, 2013, 01:02:21 AM
So I have a Jackson RR3, alder body. I have been doing research and have been pointed to the miracle man but I do want versatility. I want a tight bassy chug with screaming leads. I do want open sounding cleans and play in drop C mostly. I use high gain and play grunge/metal. What are your thoughts?

Also if I were to get the Warpig I would get the C-magnet, the Warpig also seems to have a lot better reviews.

My thoughts on the Miracle Man bridge:

Tight bassy chug - tick.
Screaming leads - tick.
Open cleans - yes, if you include the option to use it as single coil or in parallel.

Cheers Stephan

The Miracle Man is a fantastic pickup that will suit both your guitar and style. I've enquired about a Warpig a few times and based on everything I've been told by BKP, I think you'll find a C-Pig to be a lot less versatile than the Miracle Man. The A-Pig is rather more versatile but even then, it will always have that booming bass. The A-Bomb is tighter and more aggressive than even the Miracle Man but it doesn't give you that big bottom end like you get from the Miracle Man.
