I got this picture of famous guitar players from a friend of mine and thought it would be fun to share with the BKP family
So lets see how many you recognize. The quility is not good at all, but hopefully it'll be possible to see the picture somewhat clearly. SPOILER ALERT: I'll put a list of names that I know below the picture (I know most of 'em but not all).

My input:
12 - Jack White
19 - Dave Gilmour (?)
25 - John Frusciante
28 - Gary Moore (?)
29 - Jerry Garcia
-
29. could also be Jeff Lynne...
-
Maybe - it's the green decal on the strat that tells me it is Jerry Garcia though:

I think you're right :D
-
10. is obviously Ted from Bill and Ted's excellent adventure
-
I'm struggling mainly because the picture's too small, but I'll go for:
19. Dave Gilmour (agreed with Ian, but not totally sure)
30. ????? (totally stumped by this one)
35. Mike Bloomfield (??? although actually the posture of no. 28 looks more like Bloomfield)
Do you have the correct answers? :?
-
19: agree it's David Gilmour (in his Guinness T-shirt)
28: Gary Moore ?
29: agree about Jerry Garcia
30: Eric Johnson ?
35: Peter Green ?
-
I'm definitely going for:
28. Mike Bloomfield
And on a hunch I did a bit of Googling and found a picture which gives me:
30. Ry Cooder
(What a cool guitar! :o )

You could be right Philly about 30, the shirt is spot on.
-
And the matching headstock Strat, I do love a matching headstock! :D
-
I was just thinking "I think that's Ry Cooder" when I scrolled down to Philly's post :)
-
20, the Kiss guy would be Ace Frehley (if the LP has 3 pickups) or Tommy Thayer (if it only has two). hard to make out.
thats not a great contribution i know, but i like the quiz :)
-
35: Peter Green ?
definitely agree

Good spot, gwEm. :D
(Edit: Whenever I see Peter Green, I'm always struck by what an extreme physical transformation he's undergone. It's not just the age and weight gain, he simply isn't recognisable as the same person. It's genuinely weird. :? )
And yes, I'm sure 20 is Ace Frehley, not Tommy Thayer.
Does that mean we've got the lot?
-
I think we might have the lot. What do we win?
Agreed on the Peter Green thing. I'm not sure I can think of anyone who has gone through that much of a change in appearance. Well, apart from John Frusciante before, during and after his drug addiction phase.

pssst... do you think Peter Green might have dabbled in some Class As too? ;)
Definite advert for staying away from all that.
-
LSD was his downfall, wasn't it? Not a drug you hear much about nowadays (......he says, from a position of total ignorance!), but I assume it is Class A!
-
Great going guys. You sure know your guitar players :D
Unfortunately I have no prize for you except that you can pad yourself on the shoulder and say: Nice work old chap! :D
