No, actual metal guitars (well the bodies) and from what I can see they sound really really good.

Oh man, anytime I hear something about metal guitars they shoot right to place 2 on my GAS list, right behind a custom LP build with fender scale.
This man sure makes it sound pretty fantastic.
There are more than one maker though and all offer great variants, at least look whise.

I am pretty sure a metal guitar, probably a tele style actually, will remain on second place of my GAS list, so it is only a matter of time.
Man that guitar sounded good....

Electrical Guitar Company make the coolest guitars/basses.

Just had a look at them and I dunno, to me most of them seem too ordenary. When I want a metal guitar I want it to look like one. These are too low key, not enough emphasis on the metal.
The acryl ones are cool, but the rest is not for me (not bad but too normal for this).

Ooo. I like that....
Only other metal guitar I can think of (trussart except) is that thing Steve Albini played (aka the black sled). Some kinda double cut telecaster alu bodied thing iirc. Loved that Big Black guitar sound, Sharp

Hmm, I'm not convinced, personally, but then different strokes for different folks I guess.
Just sounds like there's a bit of a "sterile" quality to it, if you know what I mean?
Cool idea though. :)

I can see what you mean, but to me it is mostly an extreme clarity. Pair these guitars with a very warm pickup and you got a winner I think.
One of these for dirty dirty blues...oh my...

The Lepape I tried last year (LP Junior) was one of the most lively l guitar I've ever played.

Nope :] seems really dynamic and responsive. Wont be long 'till wooden guitars are banned 'cause of lack of resources and we have no choice anyway so suck it up haha ;-p

I used to have a Zemaitis metal front clone and I tried a Trussart Tele. The tele was really interesting and I did consider getting it but it was just a bit more than I wanted to spend. I really liked the Zemaitis but let my godson buy it from me because he fell in love with it. I keep meaning to get another but haven't seen one at the right price.

I quite like the looks and considering the reputation of Trussart I don't rule them out for the next GAS-attack.

Aye, I see what you all mean, heh. I think I just need to try one myself... oh wait, no, I don't need any more GAS... maybe I'll steer clear, just to be safe!
