cr@ppy pics as not feeling well, also red/metallic/flames are darn hard to capture well.
But here's the red strings Sambo.
-
FITTTTT  I wouldnt mind having a strum on her. Hows she sound??
-
Bloody Loud
I took a shim out to get action low as pos. Near buzz after 15th frets on B and e but can live with it.
GREAT unfinished neck, ultra smooth.
Plays like a Fat Body Electric :)
Only have my "toy" Roland Micro pube so no real opinion on amped sound but (as Ovation are known for Electric Sound) am sure it's great.
Onboard tuner is really nifty too.
Overal, great sound, darker than lighter. And Darned LOUD!

Reckon I should get a blue flamed one now so can put on blue strings?
LOL, must be worth it, 1,000+ guitar to be able to match $10 blue strings LOL
-
haha you know you want to
im gonna get one of each- theres a black flamed ovation as well isnt there? then line them up with colour coded strings...... if i had that....or even just saw that...... i could die happy.... just because of witnessing that one moment of sheer perfection.....

They did a full flame in blue and red and purple.
The half flame (front only) were mainly orange and for Guitar Centre (who are blowing em out for $874

I mean the thing that Branson should be running :)
Hey, went to see guy who owns store where I take lessons today. He basically converted part of his house.
Has some classic/crazy 80's guitars for peanuts. NO I don't wan't anymore.
But these things "should" be flying off his walls (he is new in business so may explain).
Has a red and a white washburn thru neck that look like Gibson Explorers.
A Peavey Vandenberg (like this) http://www.jcguitars.com/pvvandrd2.JPG
Two Charvels (one black one white crakle)
One Kramer
All with matching cases or at least cases and in the $200 range. Just mentioning as these are classic "rock" guitars for good prices I think.
Any interest and I can get pics/specs/prices.
