Title: Got The Mules in my 86" Standard

After drooling over my set of RY's in my LP Classic I fnally took the advice here and put a set of Mule's in my 86' LP Standard. Wow! Everthing I love about the RY's but slighty tones down. Suitable for absolutely everything I play. Could not be happier. Excuse any typos as I am having a glass of wine and typing while on a flight back to NYC. Later.

Good to hear! (especially as i just ordered a set of Mules myself today...  :D )

Glad you like them! I use Mules for a lot of styles. Very versatile, balanced, dynamic and open sounding PAF's.

It's weird, I've posted in another thread that I'm torn between getting a set of Mules and Rebel Yells. On paper they look very, very different but from what you've said and from my own inability to choose between them, they obviously have something in common.  I think it could just the fact that they both appear to be so versatile.
