A while back I posted some stuff about a teak guitar I was messing around with. Well it's finished and on the website at http://www.legraguitars.co.uk/ab602.htm
Although you guys gave me some good input about hardware etc I wound up fitting what I had lying around, with just the odd tweak here and there.
Hope you like it.

sweeeet; she looks gorgeous! how does she sound in comparison to, say alder or mahogany? I don't suppose there's any chance of clips. good choice of pups i might add

dear god thats my new dream guitar..... it has EVERYTHING i want.... a cool finish which lets the natural beauty of the wood (which is LUSH itself) through with p-90s!!!!
-
Wow that looks cool, I know it'll play and sound awesome aswell if the quality is similar to the Legra that had BKPs in at music live!

how much would one of them stunners set me back bob?

Built to order about £1500 but this one will go for a lot less 'cos it has a few (carefully concealed) compromises, like the extra blank plate in the back where I tried a series/parallel switch etc.

Looks amazing - I bet it sounds incredible too with those P92s.

The sound is very difficult to describe; huge sustain and clarity, very natural, acoustic sounding but with loads of power from the P92's.
I'd do some clips but I'm a lefty so I can't do it justice; any volunteers?

ME!
just read- two more guitars out of that teak...!!!!

Superb looking guitar Bob and fantastic choice of pups. I am an Essex boy and often go to visit my folks in Gidea Park- I would love to give it a go but I have a mate who, unlike me, is a brilliant guitarist who lives in Hornchurch. He is a very busy pro musician but if I can get hold of him, I will see if he would be interested.

Very sweet looking guitar. Love the woodgrain. PDT_003

That is really sweet - how do those P92s sound in it?
-
That's a really sweet guitar, Bob! I like the flame on the top! :D
I'll get back to you eventually on those custom guitars we were talking about (and the custom neck), Bob- things are a bit hectic at the moment, so I don't really have time to think much about it!

Nice one, looks fab. I like the shape finish and the setup with P90's.
P90's rule, especcially BKP9x's !!
