I need some advice .
I got a Lace Holy Grail Noiseless Pickup 3-Pack + Lace Sensor Silver Reverse Wound to new Pickguard replace the pickups on my American Deluxe Stratocaster® HSS . this is my vintage toned 54 Strat®.
now I plan to build a distinguished type Stratocaster with wood combination like a PRS guitar, it is koa body (bright tone) Stratocaster® HSS with indian rosewood neck + Ebony Fingerboard. may be a Seymour Duncan SHPR-1s P-Rails Bridge Pickup .
is it good to use one Slow hand and one Irish Tour on neck and mid ?

BTW , this is my first set of BK PU I buy , after I read this post:

a on going tele build for 80's tone.

I would look at either the Apaches or the Sultans. I have Sultans in a strat with an Ebony/Birdseye Maple neck (though it is a basswood body), and I've Apaches in lots of strats. Sound wise, the Apaches will give you all the classic strat tones from Hendrix to Trower to Gilmore, whereas the Sultans will give you more Rory Gallagher, Richard Thompson and Mark Knopfler tones (a little more brighter but still not brittle).

'80's tone is rather a general description. Looking for ultimate cleans, or a bit of grit?

80's tone only talk about my other Tele project , which I already buy black dog and RY after reading that post .
for the new strat I planing to build , I look for something different form Lace Holy Grail , Medium or Vintage Output , but not High Output.

after l listen to sound clips , I think I like Apache ,
Sultans a bit like the Lace Holy Grail I already got.
did they easy to get high gain noise ?

Apaches would balance a bright strat and as any BKP they handle gain well. I have Mother's Milk and Irish Tours and I encounter no excessive hiss or hum.

is Slow hand mean to be Clapton's sound ?

Yes, pretty much.
A slightly simplified take it is this:
Apache = classic SC sound, great for rock and clean, just pure classic
Irish Tour = more power, more mids, more dirt and a good portion of magic rock dust. Loves dirt, still does wondeful clean. Still classic SC at the base
Slow Hand = even more power, even more mids, fatter. More roar in there, but also more capable of a lovely fat singing SC tone with tone turned down (read: woman tone). Still classic SC at the base

I think I will go for Apache on neck , and slow hand on mid :)

That I don't quite get, but maybe it works. If you use the second position the Slowhand will overpower the neck probably. You could encounter a bit of a muddy in-between-sound. Anway, I would turn things around, Slowhand in the neck, Apache in the middle. Maybe other stratplayers can comment on this.

I can see the concern. Wonder about that too. What also strikes my mind is if a baseplate on the Apache might fix or at least make the possible issue you present bearable. In my mind the neck does not have to be stronger than the middle, to the contrary I enjoy a bit cleaner touch on the neck usually, but Apache neck and Slowhand middle could perhaps be too much of a missmatch. Can't say that it will, just might based on theoretical knowledge.

I hear that Clapton spent 80% of his Strat time on the middle pickup , and I want more soft tone for the neck , for variety .
-
Maybe Clapton did, I don't know. All I know is rarely use the middle pickup alone on my strats. It's my least favorite position. Neck always sounds better to me.

on my American Deluxe Stratocaster , 60% time I use mid + neck :D

Same pickups in there I suppose?

That's why you got a balanced inbetwee position. When you use different type of pickups it could lead to a mismatch. I don't want to lecture you, but it would be a waste of effort and money to get and install pickups that don't blend nice. Personally I would go either Apaches or Slowhands for middle and neck. Choice depends how hot and what kind of eq you want your singlecoils.
