eBay item 161137239924. Very cool item.

The Greco? Yes, I'm surprised it hasn't sold, it's been listed a few times, looks much better than the modern mid-priced BC Rich models.
There was a nice old Aria Mockingbird copy on eBay too recently, can't find it at the moment.

That's the one Philly. Thought someone here might be interested so posted it. Very cool IMO!

A BC Rich that sounds good? Hard to find these days.
The late '80s Japanese BC Ricj guitars were much better than the USA ones of the same period, which were plywood junk (I know, I sadly bought a late '80s BC Rich Warlock bass as my first instrument).
Mappe from Candlemass had an '80s Bich, might have been the Japanese version. I'm betting this sounds pretty similar. Fair to say he got a heavy tone out of that thing.

I know the owner of an old BCrich bass that was owned and used by the Candlemass bassist. Don't know the model name but it's a beast of a guitar.
edit: that's a total lie! It was Cathedral

Probably hasn't sold 'cause of the cack blue finish. That's what turned me off. If it was black or natural I'd probably make a lowball offer. Grecos are super cool. Kind of funny that the MIJ guitars that I played and owned in my teens and regarded as stepping stones to the real thing are more desirable to me now than the real thing haha. Quite fancy a Greco blackbeauty lester or SG. Not cheap anymore, though.

If you're not bothered about the condition they're in or the weight (in the case of LPs) you can still get them for about £400 - of course you have to then factor in shipping and import costs.

Yar, check out ebay user generalunrest. He/she has some nice guitars ending in the next few hours. In France, though.

p.s my offer of £180 on the blue BCRich Greco was declined

I've bought from him before. He has some really nice stuff but isn't the greatest communicator in the world, I didn't think the one I bought had been very accurately or fully described.
That ObG LP Custom he has was listed last week with a starting price of £750. Didn't sell, and now he's upped it to £1,000. :?

Well, at least you put in an offer. I sometimes wish people would put in low-ball offers on some of my stuff, it gives a basis for negotiations if nothing else.

Which bassist? Cathedral have had a few. Griff was the founding bassist and songwriter and more recently they've had Repulsion bassist Scott Carlson in the band. The others I can't remember.
If it had been owned by Leif Edling that would add some serious mojo, but as far as I know his sound has always been Fenders.
Looks like it might be a variation on the BC Rich model that Tom Araya (Slayer) played ... can't remember the name of that one. There are also aspects of it that remind me of a Mockingbird.
Looks like there is one of those 'toaster' pickups that were used in the old Peavey T40s (which are monsters, by the way)! I love the chicken head knobs and the wood
