Title: anyone here ever remove the paint on a guitar? tips?
Post by: littleredguitars2 on November 09, 2013, 02:48:46 PM
recently got a strat for pretty cheap. im not thrilled with the color but it was a great deal. and i've always wanted a natural wood grain strat. i have no idea what wood type it is, so it could be an "ugly" wood but still worth a shot i think.

anyone have any tips or know of any good online tutorials?

I just used a sander... but then it was an old Bronze series Mockingbird that I wasn't too fussed about accidentally damaging.
Having said that, I didn't actually damage it, so it all turned out OK.  :)
