I am rebuilding an 1984 Ibanez RS1000.
The body is basswood with a carved maple top and I am using the original hard rocker tremolo with a brass block and claw.
The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard.
I tend to play dirty funk on the neck pickup and long sustain single notes on the bridge and occasionally rockabilly.
I use a boss CS1 and have a slightly gritty sound on my amp.
What BK hum buckers and pots/capacitors does anyone recommend.

The MQ is like Eric suggests a good idea for the funk- and rockabilly part, and the Emerald could certainly brings basswood to life. The Emerald is bright though and I'm wondering how it works with a maple cap. Depends also on the thickness of the cap. An MQ-bridge could be an alternative, if you like P90's.

I'm really not sure with this one. I can see the reasoning behind the Emerald but as I'm not sure, I think I'd go with a Mule on the basis that it seems to do pretty much everything well in most guitars.
