So I recently decided that the Aftermaths I installed into my RGD2127z just aren't for me. The bridge pickup is just way too harsh/sharp on the higher strings and the neck pickup has this odd, hollow quality on any lower notes. Almost like a bad chorus effect. For those that don't know, the RGD2127z has a basswood body, bolt on neck, double locking bridge and a 26.5" scale.
I primarily play stuff like Intervals, After the Burial, Modern Day Babylon. The pickups i'm deciding between are the Juggernauts, Black Hawks (ceramic or alnico?), Rebel YellB/vhiiN, or Holy Divers.
I've heard Alnico Black Hawks & know I like them, just not sure how they'd sound in this particular guitar, as I heard them in a chambered mahogany/maple cap/maple neck-through guitar.
Thanks!

I honestly think the Juggernauts would solve all your issues. I can't say that about the Black Hawks, because I don't know them. Wish I did, they look killer hahaha

Had a ceramic warpig(bridge) and ceramic nailbomb (neck) in my 2127 for close to 3 years .Does down tuned metal very well. Was happy till i installed a Holydiver and VHll in my other guitars .
The warpig was too dark and really heavy on the low end , overcompensated for the lack of low end of the basswood and how.
Swapped it out for a rebel yell. Sounds extremely balanced now. The nailbomb does great cleans on the neck.

if you're confident enough, you could swap the center magnet for a (4mm?) alnico 5 bar

I think Juggernaut is the pickup for you. I changed my Aftermath for it and Jugg can do what you want.
Here's a little sample of my Jugg in swamp ash (it's brighter and has less mids than basswood):
