I'm curious about how pickups are wound...
Are Neck and Bridge humbuckers wound with the coils in the same direction? i.e. are the coils around the pole piece coil on a bridge and neck humbucker wound in the same direction? therefore the slug coils would be wound the same also.
Is the only difference between a bridge and neck humbucker the voicing?
If you can make sense of the jibberish im spouting, any comments welcome.
