... using the BKP Aftermath set. Been revisiting some of my old Death n`Black Metal albums lately, LOTS of nice riffage to play around with. The guitar tone is a custom Axe-FX II patch, based around the Mark IIC+ amp (USA IIC+ NORM). Used Superior Drummer 2.0 for the drums, and a Sadowsky 5 string bass.
I`m really digging`these pickups, though I`ll try out a set of Black Hawks on the next guitar...

Best Aftermath clip I've heard.
They sound really good in your clip. Usually all that seems to get served up with these is fricking djent, and my dislike of the genre makes it hard to work out how they might sound when I play them. This is useful, thank you.

Haha, well... I`m just happy to hear that. I`m sure not any djentleman either!
They got recommended to me by the builder of this guitar, he also recommended using 1 meg pots. Being aware of my love for the EMG 81/60 combo, this was according to him a great passive take on that combo. And I do agree.

Just finished recording this as well. Obviously not Death Metal, but old school AND metal nonetheless. Just can`t justify making a new thread yet... :)
