Post by: RosettaStoned on January 30, 2014, 04:06:11 PM
I got my BKP MM today, and im gonna begin soldering now. But the wiring diagram i got from BKP has 3 push pull pots. Does anyone have the diagram for 1 push pull pot with single coil split? Its a ESP eclipse II with 3 pots. the pickups are a bill lawrence and a Miracle Man. Split coil function

There are a heap of different wiring diagrams that you can download from the BKP site.

The diagram you have has three push-pull switching pots???  That sounds odd.

Are you trying to split the bridge, neck, or both?

https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/downloads/schematics/general/humbuckers/2_hum__2_vol__1push_pull_tone_coilsplit__3_way_blade_switch.pdf

here are my questions:

*Where do i solder ground? i solder the grounds to the top of the pots.

*What is bridge ground wire? is that the cabel that come from the bridge OR the bridgepickup? cause i got a cable that is mountet underneath the bridgepick thats need to be soldered to a play.. its probibaly ground.

* on that diagram, you can see a black wire is soldered to 3 points on the Tone push/pull, but on the close up picture, i can i see that its only soldered 2 places. what is right?

* The diagram shows a different 3 way toggle than i got.

Im getting sound out of the guitar, but there is something wrong. So those questions i asked is what i possibly has done wrong since..   Im very happy if someone could help me out, cause im very close to get this rigth..  U can see on the picture here how my 3 way toggleswitch looks like. red on the left pin, white in middle on black to the right. but where should they be soldered?

Thanks!
