Hi Guys & Girls (if there is any girls here :D ...)
Looks like both Co's cater in the same direction with these two sets.
Has anyone here tested them at the same time, or even better, does anyone own both sets right now ?
I would love to know how they compare to one another in a direct A/B Test !
Any thoughts, ideas or opinions ?
Thanx to al.

I have BD's in my 52 LP Conversion and I don't think I would look at anything else. I can get all the Zep tones that I want.
-
Either bd set or bd bridge with mule neck for zep tones, I'm using the bd/mule mix and it works perfectly for me

Funny though, when Tim serviced Page's Les Paul, he said the Riff Raff was the closest BKP to the stock pups in the LP.
-
I'd sure be curious about this pairing as well !!

I think that is after he had changed the pickups to T-tops. The Riff Raff is closest to a T-top, the BD's are like his older PAF's.

I thought the Riff Raff's was closer to the Angus Young or AC/DC type of tone ???
Does Angus Yioung have a set of T Tops in his SG then ?

Mid to late 60's SG's with Batwing scratchplates have T-tops.
