hey guys im new to this forum so nice to meet you all!
im getting an ibanez s470SOL similar to the old guitar herman li had. im looking to get a bareknuckle put in the bridge (will have a neck pickup put in sometime afterwards)
was thinking either the nailbomb or the blackhawk ceramic
i will be playing metal mainly. sylosis, bleed from within, metalcore/thrash metal etc. and im used to playing emgs or seymour duncans.
i know what sound i like but i dont know what to go with based on the width of the guitar im getting as i understand the type of wood and the thin-ness of it will have a big impact. hence why im asking for your help :D
thanks again guys
any help will be appreciated ;D!

Hi and welcome!
So you got a thin mahagony body, maple neck, rosewood board Ibanez. Generally a light guitar with a bit of mahagony depth, but a lot of thin and maple brightness.
Metal...metalcore...ok I am having the Miracle Man, the Blackhawk, and the Juggernaut in my mind for something like that. MM and Jugg probably the frontrunners for me though. The MM will give you a wonderfully "delivers what EMG promises" kinda thing. What I mean by that is crushing low mids and cut in the high end with a present but not emphasised mid range. The Jugg will give you something which might be best for you as it is said to bring a big, dry, yet organic low end and musical high end.

Thrash metal is the Nailbomb and if the dude at BKP suggested it, then i suppose that is the one to go for. :)
