Hey guys!
So I finally got myself an 8 string. It's an LTD FM418 (as said in the title) and I'm starting to think about what BKP's I'm going to put in this beast. The EMG's will do for now, but their sound has never been my favourite.
The guitar has a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. With this, I will be playing mostly djent stuff, nodding towards Monuments, Meshuggah, Glass Cloud etc, so I need something that will keep the low end tigher than a nun whilst letting the highs sing through.
What suggestions have you all got for me?
Thanks!
Declan

Juggernaut or miracle man. Mm is tighter but more classic and its a bit more sharp ( not shrill ) and isnt as scooped as tbe eq curve suggestes. The juggernaut is less compressed and more organic but less tight and clear. Both are optimized for basswood body and maple neck. Hope this help youˇ

Juggernaut should fit your sound.
