Title: Stormy Monday vs PG Blues?

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of making a 335 and need help deciding which pickups to put in it. I'm really looking for a John Mayer sound, scooped mids and under wound in a humbucker. The closest humbuckers I can find are the SM and PG. I really love the tone of both as I'm a heavy blues player, but which pups do you think would get me closer to Mayers tone?
