Title: Luxxtone El Machette maple alder neck pickup

Hi, I have my trusted nailbomb in the bridge and coldsweat in the neck.
I play rock and alternative covers and love the coldsweat lead tone but I'm looking for something to replace it for clean and crunch. Something a little brighter for bridge and neck mixed but retaining a nice flutey lead tone.....VH2?

VHII neck is not brighter than Cold Sweat neck. If you want brighter, then Holydiver neck is it.

Have you considered the Nailbomb neck to go with your Nailbomb bridge?

I can't speak from experience, but from what I've read it's certainly one of the brighter neck models.  May not be ideal for flutey lead tones, but opinion seems to be divided on that.
