Title: Floyd Special trem?

I'm guessing these things are poo?  Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Got one myself... works GREAT!

Same Rockwell hardness on the knife edges as OFR but zinc saddles & a small block reduce cost. As all OFR parts fit I might at some point simply replace that block with a big brass or steel.

One problem.. the arms on them don't stay too tight, they go back to swinging easily even if you really choke the thread on the nut. It's slightly annoying but the trem itself is great.

Thats quite good to know Dave, sounds pretty decent really.. Much better than what I had expected to hear.

I have a Floyd Ping on a Jackson RR24 that does the same thing with the arm.
