I've been away and it's customary to bore people with holiday snaps, so here they are ;) click me (http://juansolo.co.uk/motas/porker14.html)

Very nice indeed. I hope you played "On Days Like These" by Matt Monro as you swept through the mountain passes.

those are some great pictures, looks like you had fun :) Just a little jealous of the cars!
surely you didn't miss the opportunity to take some groovy high altitude shots of a couple of your pedals!?

Didn't think of that. I'll have to go back and do it all again I suppose

Fantastic stuff.. I really enjoyed reading that.

Holy cr@p that's awesome- I'm not much into cars (though badass sportscars like those are cool), but the scenery there is amazing. Really nicely-taken pics too.

Great trip report!
That Cayman isn't a bad travel companion.
I love driving in the alps, it's just so beaufitul. There's no place on earth like it.
Driving wise I think the passes and hairpins are highly overrated. Sure it's fun, but I think it's got more to do about the setting than the actual driving. Still, I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to go again!

I'd agree with that. I put the passes in two categories; scenic and sweeping. The sweeping ones are really enjoyable to drive, the scenic ones are really enjoyable to take in. Some belting scenery. Staggeringly pretty and awe inspiring area. The pictures really don't do justice to the scale of the place.
