Actually I got the amp a while ago, but didn't get around to posting about it. It's an Orange OR15 I snagged 2nd hand (no real need for a pic of that)
It's a bit of a one trick pony, but neither of my other amps do that trick (ie full-on, balls to the wall, rock/doom/stoner), so I'm liking it a lot and suspect it might be a keeper. Even has a decent loop on it which is nice as at higher gain settings it's a bit noisy (they're known for it), so I've stuck a gate in there. Smashing. Also it doesn't like pedals on the front of it so much, but seeing as it can do what you want it to on board, it doesn't really matter.
The guitar came this morning so I haven't had much time with it. It was a special on at Coda and I snagged a Pawn Shop Mustang Special for £300! Which is crazy money. Someone looked into it and it seems Fender had an offer on for dealers on some models of buy 6 get 6 free. Coda were particularly cool about it though and passed that straight on to the buyer, where as others have them at a bit more cash. The Jaguarillo was particularly cheap at £250!
Anyhow, it's minty fresh as expected and will become a target for some tasteful moddage (will sort the back of the neck out and fit some new electronics). Light as a feather too.

Great catches! I have to get an OR15 someday. Love those smokey driven tones. That Mustang looks very appealing in CAR.
-
It looks very pretty and a bargain by the looks of things.
-
Are they 'proper' wide range humbuckers? I probably read up on that when the Pawn Shop series came out but can't remember (and am being particularly lazy by not just searching t'internet).
-
I'm pretty sure they're not proper Wide Range humbuckers, in fact I don't think they're even Wide Range sized pickups, just regular humbuckers with cool Fender covers.
I do like the look of those Mustangs a lot, but resisted the temptation to buy one.
It's all been going crazy with these Fender offers, spmething's afoot but I don't kbow what it is! Coda (I think) were selling US Vintage Thinlines for less than £800!

Nope they're humbuckers in both size and construction. They'll be for sale when the new pups land.

£650 I think. There are a lot of bargains out there at the moment. There's a thread on TFB covering it (These won't last long).

I wish I'd not read this thread! No money and some bargains out there. This one looks good;

I think they look much better as thinlines.

Cor, I really want one of those OR15's (or even one for the OR50's) as I regret selling my Dual Terror. Surprised to hear it doesn't take pedals well though? In what way?

Drive/distortion pedals. It has so much gain anyway it does nothing for it. I was surprised at that too. Not sure it's worth bothering with fuzz either though I didn't try that. A good loop means modulation will probably play really well with it.

I know that a lot of people say the Tiny Terror does not take pedals well too, or at least is very picky. I can see that as a gain thing as well, cause it has enough. However I find that a properly pedal driven distortion has a different character than just cranking the gain on the amp, one which I really like. That is why I usually have the gain on the TT at 2-3 o clock and my Klone in front with almost the "more" setting, but with the gain only at just past 9. Works a charm for me.
I would recon that the OR15 is also mostly picky. Little more hitting the front end plus a hint of distortion coming in (for a more complex distortion over all) should still work I imagine. Seems to be something that works with every driven amp I have tried it with (the reason I love the Klone, it just always works).

Sweet  That's very nice.
Coda is great. I seem to have got the 72 thinline reissue
-
Orange-amps are picky when it comes to (drive)pedals. My Rockerverb takes the Emma Reezafratzitz though.
-
Love that guitar. I've really enjoyed the Pawn Shop series, a lot of fun and interesting ideas whilst retaining the timeless cool of the Fender designs. And for that money, how could you not?
-
They sold out before I could get my hands on 'em! Looks great. Good job :afro:
-
Very nice on both counts ..... That guitar looks very cool.
-
Congrats on the new amp and guitar. Nice scores
-
Nice looking guitar - interesting about the Orange and pedals. Not like a Matamp then!
-
The butchery has begun. Not BKPs as I was after something specific, but you get the idea. I've altered the wiring to do parallel/split/series on each of the switches too.

Toying with fitting a Toronado bridge next...

That's a good idea. I've always thought the conventional hardtail bridge on this model looks a bit odd, given the shape of the scratchplate.
-
Oooooooh, shiny. That looks really nice! It looks much better without the wide range style HB covers.
I think the Toronado bridge sounds like a good idea too - something doesn't look quite right about the current one.
-
Found a pic of one with a Toronado on, It must be done.

Dirt cheap too in the States. I wonder if I can think of someone over there who could pick one up for me... *rubs chin*

One of my favourite Fender colours. Are you going to refinish yours to match?
-
Nah, I prefer CAR to LPB.
-
Go on, you know it makes sense.

Liking the mods very much and agree that the bridge swap will help a lot too. Were it me, I'd swap out the knobs too for something a bit more hot-roddy.
Looking very cool though. Oh, and nice duvet. Minimal.
-
Knobbage will likely be swapped also, requires Bakelite or something like that. But definitely want to swap out the bridge. Looks so much better with the Toronado than the Strat hard tail.
