Title: NPD. What am I to expect from the Aftermath neck?

I ordered my self a set of Aftermaths for my ESP Eclipse, but I'm only getting around to having my tech fitting them. What am I to expect from the neck? I only usually hear things about the Cold Sweat neck, but read somewhere the Aftermath neck is similar. What can I expect to get from the neck?

The AM neck is full and rounded. Modern in the broader sense. Definetly on the hotter side which gives it a nicely fluid feel. The cleans have that modern ambient feel and are suprisingly nice given the AM is know for the brutalz. Under gain it really shines. I always say that is has that early Dream Theater (Awake era) mojo and is also brilliant for Satriani type stuff. A liquid shred champ if you will.

All in all it complements the bridge, but does not share as much DNA as one would expect.

I canīt say too much about how it compares to the CS, but I think it is more modern and fuller.

Spot on.

Compared to the cold sweat its less versatile in terms of clean etc but under hi gain its darker with more power and very fluid.

Mate as per the above I think that's what it's perfect for.  If that's your main/only priority youll be very happy.
